Rarely seen without his camera flung across his shoulder, David Yang joins THE AUCTIONEER team as an exclusive in house photographer. Otherwise known as THE SHOOTER.
You will usually find him tramping across Melbourne, shooting THE AUCTIONEER team in action on auction day (with his camera, not a gun).
From the moment he picked up his very first camera (a Nikon D80) as a child and peered through the lens, David was hooked.
David loves looking at beautiful photos and has an instinct for creating them. His creations are used across all of THE AUCTIONEER’s marketing and social media channels providing a constant stream of fresh new content pleasing to the eye.
Having enjoyed a career in marketing and landing at THE AUCTIONEER from the aviation industry, David hasn’t looked back since venturing into photography on a full-time basis.
THE SHOOTER is as an extension of THE AUCTIONEER business, our team’s own personal paparazzi if you will. THE SHOOTER’s favourite pastime is hanging out with his young son, Davin (an avid photographer and upcoming auctioneer in his own right), and life partner, the lovely Risa.
